 We recommend arriving in the later part of the evening before the sun sets. The tipi can get hot during the earlier part of the day, so arriving later ensures a more comfortable check-in experience—and a chance to enjoy the beautiful sunset views. 

 Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this time. Service dogs are allowed upon prior approval.

 Yes. Each tipi has a private outhouse on-site for guest use, maintained regularly for cleanliness and comfort.

For shower access, there are local options nearby:

• Jicarilla Laundry Mat offers showers for $5.

• On-Site Meal Option:
  We offer a traditional Jicarilla stew and frybread meal for our guests. Ask us in advance for availability and pricing.
   
• Daanzho Restaurant & Hotel (To-Go Menu Available):
  Daanzho offers a convenient to-go menu. You can order in-person or online:

• Jicarilla Supermarket:
  Includes a deli and Charlie Biggs inside for quick hot meals and snacks.
   
• Local Food Vendors:
  You can often find vendors selling delicious local food near the gas station or at the 4-way stop in the center of town.
